The last couple of weeks have been a tense one for the younger generation, but that ‘will I, wont I?’ period is finally over (at least for a year or so). Many are saying the exams are harder than ever, and with a dramatic decrease in GCSE pass rates this year, those claims might hold some weight. However, it’s not all doom and gloom, a record number of A-level students achieved a place at university, up 3% on last year. Oh, and dare we mention girls are still outperforming boys… 😉
For many it’s a huge weight off their shoulders, and finally time to relax for the rest of the summer. For some its not such a fairy tale ending, with the prospect of re-takes or clearing looming. Whatever the outcome, there’s always the pub!
Here at Peach, we wanted to help with the celebrations, with a glass of prosecco or pud on us – our own version of a pat on the back, but also a great pick me up! We had lots of families in celebrating with us, and we loved the positive vibes!!
